What Is Witchcraft?

A bedside table, shelf or quiet corner of your home is all you need.

Lay out your altar cloth and arrange a few of your favourite items.

Perhaps your candle holder, your three crystals and your incense holder.

That's enough.

Your altar will grow and change as your practice develops.

Your First Ritual

Choose one of your white spell candles and place it safely into the candle holder.

Select whichever crystal you're naturally drawn to today.

Light your Dragon's Blood incense and take three slow, deep breaths.

Now ask yourself one simple question:

"What do I need today?"

Gratitude.

Or simply a few moments of stillness.

Light your candle and spend a few quiet moments focusing on that intention.

Hold your chosen crystal in your hands.

Watch the candle flame.

Breathe slowly.

When you feel ready, carefully extinguish your candle.

Carry your crystal with you throughout the day or place it back on your altar as a reminder of the intention you've chosen.

Looking After Your Kit
